A marriage, or a divorce that results in the loss of coverage, may qualify you for a tax credit and make you eligible to enroll in coverage or add a spouse to your current coverage through Your Health Idaho.

What Qualifies as a Marriage or Divorce Event

Verification Documents

Marriage:

Proof of prior insurance for at least one partner within the last 60 days

AND one of the following:

Marriage certificate

Copy of court order, decree, or petition for name change for marriage

Domestic legal document

Divorce:

Proof of prior insurance coverage that was lost because of a divorce

AND one of the following:

Copy of divorce papers

Papers of legal separation

Court order papers for dissolution of partnership

Validation on the Idaho repository
