What Qualifies as a Marriage or Divorce Event
- Getting Married
- Finalizing a divorce, resulting in the loss of coverage
Verification Documents
Marriage:
Proof of prior insurance for at least one partner within the last 60 days
AND one of the following:
Marriage certificate
Copy of court order, decree, or petition for name change for marriage
Domestic legal document
Divorce:
Proof of prior insurance coverage that was lost because of a divorce
AND one of the following:
Copy of divorce papers
Papers of legal separation
Court order papers for dissolution of partnership
Validation on the Idaho repository
