Big Life Change?
We have you covered
You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in health insurance if you have experienced a Qualifying Life Event or have unaffordable employer-sponsored coverage. Your Health Idaho is the only place Idahoans can apply for and receive a tax credit to lower their monthly premium.
Get coverage with a Special Enrollment Period
Idahoans can enroll in health or dental coverage, make changes to their existing coverage, and apply for a tax credit outside of the annual Open Enrollment period (October 15 – December 15) with a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).
To qualify for an SEP, you must experience a Qualifying Life Event and report it within 60 days of that event.
Unaffordable Employer-Sponsored Coverage
Idahoans with employer-sponsored coverage considered unaffordable for themselves or their family may qualify to enroll in coverage and apply for a tax credit through Your Health Idaho.
